We bring you live music, accessible to everyone

(And if you’re under 25, it’s either free or extra affordable!)

Östergötland Music Days invite you to enjoy classical music and jazz in our beautiful region. Our main cities are Linköping and Norrköping and we play all over the province – in castles, churches, art museums, concert halls.

Our opening concert features the two professional orchestras of the region: the Norrköping Symphony Orchestra and the Östgöta Symphonic Winds in the Tchaikovsky String Serenade and Gran Partita – serenade for winds by Mozart.

During the week you will then meet some truly fabulous artists:

  • Internationally famed soprano Camilla Tilling and Roland Pöntinen, Sweden’s leading pianist for over 40 years,
  • Lars Jansson/Erik Söderlind Quartet, one of the country’s most prominent jazz groups,
  • Young star jazz vocalist Ellen Andersson with the Östgöta Jazz Ensemble,
  • Celebrating the 500 years’ anniversary of the Royal Swedish Orchestra 1526-2026, some of its musicians performing with pianist Bengt Forsberg,
  • Carl Unander-Scharin and Mattias Wager, two sublime artists in Schubert’s Winterreise for baritone and piano,
  • The Linköping Vocal Ensemble – a spectacular new group of singers,
  • Paris-based cellist Mimi Sunnerstam in cross-over lunch- and breakfast concerts,
  • Ensemble Zellbell, presenting the 17th century music of Queen Kristina of Sweden.
  • The Crusell Wind Quintet and Östgöta Brass Quintet in energetic and melodious programs.

On behalf of myself and the Association of Music in Linköping (MIL), I would like to wish you a warm welcome!
